The Alausa Transmission Substation also saw an upgrade with the commissioning of a 100MVA, 132/33kV transformer, raising the substation's total transformation capacity from 135MVA to 205MVA (approximately 164MW). This investment is strategically important for the area, where government, industries, businesses, and markets intersect. The additional capacity will enhance the reliability and availability of bulk electricity, ultimately benefiting over 70,000 residents in Alausa and neighboring communities.
