Everton keen on Eintracht Frankfurt attacker Jean-Matteo Bahoya

Everton is reportedly interested in signing Eintracht Frankfurt attacker Jean-Matteo Bahoya, according to the Guardian journalist Ed Aarons. The Toffees manager David Moyes is looking for reinforcements in the final third at the club's Hill Dickinson Stadium. Bahoya, who is the Bundesliga's fastest player, has caught the attention of Everton, but the 21-year-old Frenchman has other Premier League clubs also monitoring his progress.

His speed is only one of his many strengths, as Bahoya is also known for his ability to get past defenders. Last season, he completed an impressive 2.78 take-ons per 90, surpassing 94 percent of wingers in Europe's top five leagues. Bahoya is not only an exceptional passer, dribbler, and finisher, but he also contributes significantly defensively.

He ranks in the top 11 percent for duels won per 90 (8.9) and the top 10 percent for interceptions per 90 (0.88) among wingers in Europe's top five leagues last season. His defensive abilities are equally noteworthy, as he tackles well, ranking in the top 13 percent among wingers in Europe's top five leagues last season for tackles per 90 (2.1).

During the 2021-2022 Bundesliga season, Bahoya played in seven games for Eintracht Frankfurt, and Moyes is hopeful that the young attacker will continue to improve and develop his goal-scoring abilities should he join the Toffees.
