Dreama signs financing agreement with DAAM to support orphan care programmes

Doha, Qatar -- The Orphan Care Center, known as Dreama, and the Social and Sports Contribution Fund, referred to as DAAM, have reached a financing agreement aimed at strengthening support for children under its care and their foster families. This agreement, highlighted by Dreama on social media, marks a crucial advancement in sustaining programs that address the holistic needs of the children, including their psychological, social, educational, and living requirements.

The accord also focuses on developing the children's skills and abilities, empowering them for greater self-reliance. Dreama expressed gratitude for the partnership, highlighting it as a key contribution to the center's ongoing endeavors to enhance and broaden its programs and services for the children and the families raising them.

The signing ceremony involved representatives from both organizations, with Yousef Mohammed Al Nuaimi, Director of Shared Services at DAAM, and Sheikha Najla bint Ahmed Al Thani, Executive Director of Dreama, formalizing the agreement alongside officials from each entity.

Dreama, established in 2002 under the Qatar Foundation for Social Work, is dedicated to providing comprehensive care for orphans in Qatar, ensuring their stability within foster families, and facilitating their integration into society. It delivers social, psychological, educational, and healthcare support, alongside fostering awareness of the significance of fostering. Its programs aim to equip children with the necessary tools for independent and productive lives.

DAAM, founded in 2010, utilizes contributions from listed companies on the Qatar Stock Exchange to fund social, sports, and cultural initiatives that advance community development, in alignment with Qatar National Vision 2030. The fund has backed various projects aimed at sustainable social progress, and this new agreement continues this mission by enhancing services for one of the nation's most vulnerable groups.

The financing will aid Dreama in maintaining and expanding the array of services offered to children and foster families, ensuring ongoing quality and continuity in care. Both organizations emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts in achieving measurable and enduring results.
