Danny K thanks fans for support after wife Lisa Koppel’s death

Danny K has extended his gratitude to supporters following the loss of his wife, Lisa Koppel. The singer and songwriter expressed that he has received countless messages since her passing, and although he could not respond to each one individually, he assured that their support was deeply appreciated. Danny K, whose real name is Daniel Koppel, acknowledged that his family had been devastated by Lisa’s death, but the overwhelming outpouring of love and compassion had helped them feel less isolated during this trying time.

He stated that they plan to honor Lisa’s memory by raising awareness and supporting others affected by the same disease and their families. Lisa Koppel, aged 41, succumbed to colorectal cancer on Sunday, August 9. Her family shared that Lisa had chosen to keep her illness private, as she did not seek pity, attention, or sympathy.

Instead, she wished to safeguard her children’s happiness and innocence for as long as possible. Danny K emphasized that Lisa’s illness would not define her, and she would be remembered for her kind, humble, courageous nature and her unwavering devotion to her loved ones.
