Crow-Armstrong makes MLB history, Bregman give Cubs another walk-off win over White Sox, 4-3

Chicago Cubs Pete Crow-Armstrong broke MLB history with his leadoff home run and Alex Bregman's RBI single helped the Cubs secure a second consecutive walk-off victory over the Chicago White Sox, 4-3, on Tuesday night. Carson Kelly opened the ninth inning with a double to left field off Trevor Richards. The White Sox intentionally walked Crow-Armstrong before Bregman drove in pinch-runner Kevin Alcantara in the seventh to tie the score.

Crow-Armstrong, who had hit a home run in consecutive at-bats on Monday, drove in the winning run with his 31st career home run, making him the first player in MLB history to accomplish this feat in back-to-back games. Jacob Webb pitched a perfect ninth inning for the win, the Cubs' eighth straight victory against the White Sox at Wrigley Field.

Carson Kelly, Michael Busch, and Erick Fedde were key contributors for the Cubs. The White Sox, meanwhile, saw their AL Central lead over the Minnesota Twins shrink to four games. The game was delayed by rain for 88 minutes in the eighth inning.
