FX and Hulu are set to premiere a new meta limited series titled "Legends." This series will reunite the cast of the popular FX show "Sons of Anarchy" as themselves at a fan convention. Charlie Hunnam and Jonathan Groff are set to star in the series, which is executive produced by Rob Mac, Nicholas Frenkel, and Jackie Cohn. The original "Sons of Anarchy" cast, including Ron Perlman, Katey Sagal, Maggie Siff, Mark Boone Junior, Tommy Flanagan, Kim Coates, and Theo Rossi, will also appear in the series, playing their own characters.
"Legends" will be produced by FX Productions and 20th Television, and is the second spinoff series in the "Sons of Anarchy" universe following "Mayans M.C." The show's executive producer, Nick Grad, praised Charlie Hunnam's bold and entertaining vision for the series. Hunnam, who hasn't been on FX since "Sons of Anarchy" ended in 2014, previously starred in the Netflix series "Monster" and is set to star in the upcoming Lizzie Borden season of a show. The series will mark a return for Hunnam to FX.
