BBC to show 38 live matches from Serie A
BBC ALBA and BBC Sport are to provide a package of 38 live matches from Italy's Serie A this season, starting with Atalanta v Sassuolo on Sunday.
BBC ALBA and BBC Sport will broadcast 38 live Serie A matches this season, with one game per round. The broadcasts commence on Sunday with Atalanta versus Sassuolo, airing on BBC ALBA and iPlayer starting at 19:35 BST. BBC ALBA will provide 19 games, featuring Gaelic and English co-commentary, while BBC Sport will stream the remaining 19 matches on BBC iPlayer with English commentary.
Former Hibernian teammates Kieron Bowie and Josh Doig will join Sassuolo for their Serie A debut. Meanwhile, former Newcastle United forward Scott McTominay, now at Napoli, and club-mate Billy Gilmour, recovering from a knee injury that prevented him from the World Cup, will feature for their respective teams. Lewis Ferguson, who won the Coppa Italia in 2025, prepares for his fifth season with Bologna.
Torino's Che Adams and Udinese's Lennon Miller complete the Scottish international lineup, with England defenders Djed Spence and John Stones recently joining Inter Milan.
The BBC's Serie A coverage expands its European football portfolio, which already includes Bundesliga and La Liga highlights.
