Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Rajinikanth, Mohanlal, Madhuri Dixit & More Stars Being Reportedly Considered For An Ambitious Project Inspired By Shiva Purana

The Indian film industry, known for its large-scale productions, has been buzzing with speculation over an ambitious project inspired by the Shiva Purana. Industry insiders have reportedly discussed the potential undertaking, which is said to be in the early stages of development overseas. According to a source, a team is exploring the idea of creating a contemporary film based on the ancient Hindu scriptures, with characters and themes set in a modern-day backdrop.

The proposed film aims to bring together some of the biggest names in both South Indian and Hindi cinema. Among the principal roles, it is believed the project will feature actors from leading pan-Indian industries. Sources indicate that Malayalam stars like Mammootty, Mohanlal, and Prithviraj; Tamil stars like Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan; Bollywood heavyweights including Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, and Ajay Devgn; as well as Bollywood veteran Madhuri Dixit are among those being considered for key roles.

The source further revealed that Priyadarshan is the preferred choice to direct the film, but there are also talks of a potential collaboration between Kamal Haasan and Kamal Haasan's co-star, Rajinikanth, as co-directors.

To ensure a widespread reach, the film is planned to be released in seven languages, including Malayalam, Tamil, Hindi, English, Telugu, and two European languages.
