American Football has announced two new performances for their upcoming Latin American tour. The band will bring their music to Buenos Aires and São Paulo later this year. The Argentine show is scheduled for December 2nd at C Art Media, marking their first appearance in the country since 2023. On November 30th, they will perform at Audio Club in São Paulo.
These additions bring the total number of stops in Latin America to five for the tour, which supports their fourth studio album, LP4. The album features guest appearances from Turnstile frontman Brendan Yates, Wisp, and Caithlin De Marrais, and blends post-hardcore, math rock, jazz, and shoegaze influences into the band's established sound.
American Football formed in 1999 with their self-titled debut, which became a seminal work of Midwest emo. The band reunited in 2014 and has since released three more studio albums.
