Acer Go Air Brings Colorful Slim and Light Design and 19-Hour Battery

Acer has introduced its latest ultraportable laptop, the Go Air, in China. This slim and lightweight device is equipped with Intel's newest Wildcat Lake processor and offers a 19-hour battery life. The Go Air features a 14-inch IPS display with a 1,920 x 1,200 resolution, a 16:10 aspect ratio, and a 120Hz refresh rate. It comes in four color options and includes a full HD webcam with facial recognition for video calls and Windows login.

Under the hood, the laptop is powered by Intel's Core 5 320 processor, which is part of the Wildcat Lake family and uses Intel's 18A manufacturing process. This processor boasts six CPU cores, including two performance cores and four efficiency cores, with clock speeds up to 4.6GHz. It also features integrated graphics and an AI-capable Neural Processing Unit (NPU) that can handle up to 16 TOPS of AI performance.

Paired with 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and a 512GB SSD, the Go Air is designed for both productivity and entertainment. Despite its slim design, it includes two Thunderbolt 4 ports and one USB-A port, allowing for external display and storage connections. The laptop also has a four-speaker system, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth connectivity. The keyboard is backlit, and there are dedicated shortcuts to switch between different performance modes, catering to users who prefer lower noise, balanced performance, or maximum speed.

The Go Air boasts a sizable 70Wh battery, supporting up to 19 hours of runtime on a single charge, with a quick 30-minute charge providing 50% battery. Priced at around $815 in China for the Core 5 320, 12GB RAM, and 512GB storage configuration, the Go Air closely follows the international Swift Air 14 SFA14-I31 in terms of hardware specifications.

While international availability of this specific configuration is not confirmed, the laptop is set to hit the market in China.
