Acer unveiled its FreeMove Smart Monitor in Malaysia today. This innovative monitor is not a typical desktop display, but rather, it's designed for smaller spaces like bedrooms and living rooms. The FreeMove is available in two sizes: 27-inch and 32-inch. Currently, only the 32-inch model is being sold in Malaysia, with the 27-inch model set to arrive in September due to shipping problems in China.
The 32-inch model offers a premium experience with a 4K (3,840 x 2,160) display at 60Hz, an 8,550mAh battery, and a 10W USB-C port that functions as both a power source and a display output. In contrast, the 27-inch model has a Full (1,920 x 1,080) resolution display at 60Hz, but lacks a USB-C port. Each monitor, regardless of size, comes with a USB-A 3.0 and HDMI 2.0 port.
They both boast a two-hour battery life, and as they function like tablets, they support 10-point multitouch and run on Android 14 OS.
