Abhijeet Dipke reacts to offer to join NDA camp: ‘Wasn't I anti-national for you a month ago?'
Abhijeet Dipke should consider joining the Republican Party of India (A) to “fulfil Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar's dream”, Union minister Ramdas Athawale said.
CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke has responded to Union minister Ramdas Athawale's invitation to join the Republican Party of India (A), which is part of the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA). Dipke questioned why he was considered anti-national a month ago, sharing a report from the Hindustan Times on Instagram. Athawale suggested Dipke should join the RPI (A) to fulfill Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar's dream and strengthen society.
Dipke, who is described as an Ambedkarite, responded that he should consider joining the RPI (A). The BJP-led NDA faction responded to recent protests at Jantar Mantar, including those over exam paper leaks, student suicides, and reforms in education. This led to the resignation of Union education minister Dharmendra Pradhan on July 25.
Dipke had previously criticized BJP leaders for labeling protesting students as "anti-national" in August.
