4 Cluster Redevelopment Projects In Western Suburbs Eye ₹5,000 Crore Turnover

Mumbai's western suburbs are witnessing a surge in cluster redevelopment projects, with four new developments set to come up in Malad West, Kandivali West, Kandivali East, and Borivali West. The combined projected saleable carpet area for these projects is around 15 lakh sq ft, and the potential turnover is estimated at approximately ₹5,000 crore.

Two of the projects are located in Ashok Nagar and Shankar Lane in Kandivali East and West, respectively, covering about 12,611.5 sq m and expected to generate a saleable carpet area of around 3.5 lakh sq ft, with an estimated Gross Development Value (GDV) of ₹1,100 crore. The Malad West redevelopment spans 8,428 sq m and is projected to offer 2.5 lakh sq ft of saleable carpet area, with a turnover potential of ₹900 crore.

The largest project is the Yogi Nagar – Plot B cluster redevelopment in Borivali West, spanning 24,165 sq m, expected to generate around 9 lakh sq ft of saleable carpet area with a projected turnover of approximately ₹3,000 crore. The collective construction area of the four developments is estimated at 51 lakh sq ft, showcasing Arkade Developers' expanding redevelopment portfolio in the western suburbs.

Chairman and Managing Director of Arkade Developers Limited, Amit Jain, stated that redevelopment is a crucial part of Mumbai's real estate growth journey and remains a core strength of their brand, highlighting the city's expanding skyline and market expansion.
