Where Alabama commits will play high school football this season

The 2026 high school football season commences for the majority of the United States, marking the beginning of the junior and senior high school seasons for Alabama Crimson Tide football commitments currently at the prep level. Among them are some of the nation's elite prospects at their respective positions. Here's where every current Alabama commit will play high school football this season:

Quarterbacks Elijah Haven (Dunham, Louisiana), Trent Seaborn (Thompson, Alabama), Kingston Preyear (Benjamin Russell, Alabama), and Charles Scott Jr. (Huguenot, Virginia) will all play high school football this season. The Crimson Tide has four quarterbacks committed between their 2027-28 classes, with two of them being from in-state programs.

Running backs Nigel Newkirk (Gainesville, Georgia) and Tai Phillips (Irmo, South Carolina) enter their senior seasons, both playing at their respective high schools this fall.

Wide receiver Osani Gayles (IMG Academy, Florida) and Cedrick Simmons (Selma, Alabama) will play for IMG Academy and Selma High School, respectively, both coming off impressive 2025 seasons.

Tight ends Michael Nnabuife (St. Frances Academy, Maryland) and Oakley Keegan (Liverpool, New York) will represent Maryland's St. Frances Academy and Liverpool High School. Nnabuife is coming off an injury-filled 2025 season, while Keegan will play this season.

Offensive line prospects Stafford Willis (Arab, Alabama) and Anthony Blalock Jr. (Fitch, Ohio) will play high school football this season, with Willis staying in-state and Blalock joining Alabama at Fitch High School in Ohio.

Defensive linemen Avrian Pauley (McGill-Toolen, Alabama) and Jeremiah Beverly (Hillcrest-Tuscaloosa, Alabama) will play for their in-state programs this fall.

Linebackers Dustin Henry (St. Frances Academy, Maryland) and Ryquan Butler (Loachapoka, Alabama) will play for St. Frances Academy and Loachapoka High School, respectively.

Cornerbacks Darrius White (Creekside, Georgia) and Braylen Gibbs (Knoxville Catholic, Tennessee) will take the field for Georgia's Creekside and Tennessee's Knoxville Catholic high schools, respectively.

Lastly, kicker Luke Cody (Lumberton, Texas) will complete the roster of Alabama commits playing high school football this season. Cody's performance last season included making 10 field goals at Lumberton High School in Texas.
