Visakhapatnam Collector directs officials to expedite SIR notice, hearing process

Visakhapatnam's District Collector, M. Abhishikth Kishore, has instructed staff to expedite the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) notice and hearing process. The Collector held a video conference with Electoral Registration Officers, Additional EROs, and Assistant EROs on Tuesday to review the SIR process across the district.

Kishore expressed dissatisfaction with the progress made in Bhimili constituency, demanding that officials complete notice issuance within a day. He also asked officials in the East constituency to hasten delivery of notices and update details after receiving them from voters. In North constituency, officials were directed to upload completed hearing details on the BLO app.

Additionally, Kishore ordered officials in West and Gajuwaka to expedite pending work. The Collector emphasized the importance of adhering to the designated deadlines for notices and hearings, ensuring that records are updated accordingly.
