Top 10 most attractive cities in world 2026: Osaka ranks 1, Delhi at #36

The Global Tourism Attractiveness Index, recently released by Yanolja Research, has ranked the world's most attractive cities for tourists. The index, which assesses cities from the perspective of tourists, is based on sentiment analysis of social media data from 14 languages. The index covers 191 cities globally, offering insights into global tourist opinions and perspectives.

Osaka topped the list with a perfect score of 10, excelling in hospitality and experiential tourism. The city scored particularly high in food, shopping, accommodations, theme parks, and nightlife. Osaka's friendly culture and energetic service have made it a city that delivers high levels of satisfaction.

Delhi, however, ranked 36th in the global attractiveness index. It was placed at 25th in the overall rankings. Kyoto came in second place in the attractiveness rankings, while New York, Seoul, and Paris followed in the third, fourth, and fifth positions, respectively. London, Rome, and Okinawa were ranked sixth, seventh, and eighth, respectively. Bangkok held the ninth spot, and Dubai was the top-ranked city in the overall list.
