SXSW has also announced venue changes, new badge options, and programming updates for 2027. The Music Clubhouse will now take place at The Thompson hotel, while Music Conference programming will be held at both The Thompson and The Westin hotels. The Film & TV Festival will feature major premieres, screenings, and red carpets at ACL Live at The Moody Theater, with the Paramount Theatre undergoing renovations and its Conference relocated to The Driskill and Stephen F. Austin hotels.
Additionally, SXSW will launch the CxO Badge for C-Suite executives and founders, and Texans with a 512 area code will be given access to the 512 Club as a base.
