Slow Horses Reveals Olivia Cooke's Return As Sid In Season 6 Trailer

Apple TV has unveiled the Season 6 trailer for the spy drama "Slow Horses," revealing a shocking return of Olivia Cooke's character, Sid Baker, who was presumed dead in Season 1. In the trailer, Jackson Lamb's spy chief, portrayed by Gary Oldman, humorously remarks, "We've all faked our own death at one time or another," before Sid appears at the top of a staircase, simply uttering, "Hello, River."

Additionally, the trailer shows Jackson visiting MI5 director Diana Taverner, who questions if anyone knows why his "Slow Horses" keep turning up dead. The trailer also hints at an increasing number of spies from Slough House, the U.K. MI5 unit led by Jackson, being targeted. In response, Jackson orders his team to take refuge in a secure location and refrain from using phones until the danger passes.

However, the trailer suggests that the Slow Horses, known for their defiance of orders, may not comply with this directive. "Slow Horses," which premiered on Apple TV in April 2022, stars Gary Oldman, Jack Lowden, and Olivia Cooke, with the latter returning as Sid Baker. The series has received critical acclaim, earning nine Emmy nominations, including for best drama series and acting nods for Oldman and Lowden.

Season 6, set to premiere on September 16, sees the Slow Horses navigating a perilous game of revenge and retribution orchestrated by Diana Taverner.
