RAK Chamber enlists residents to promote emirate as tourist hub
Ras Al Khaimah (RAK) has introduced a novel 'RAK Ambassador' initiative to transform its residents and citizens into tourism promoters. The campaign, launched by the Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, aims to increase tourism, hotel occupancy, and visitor spending. The initiative runs from August 19 to October 31, 2026, and requires participants to be UAE nationals aged 18 and above.
Registered ambassadors can invite friends and relatives from abroad to visit the emirate, submitting their guest's details before their arrival on a tourist visa or visa on arrival. Visitors participating in the initiative will receive exclusive offers such as discounted hotel stays, reduced admission to major tourist attractions, restaurant and cafe discounts, special deals on marine activities, and safari tours.
They will also enjoy benefits like luxury car rentals and exclusive shopping offers at Al Manar Mall. Ras Al Khaimah's Director General, Dr Rashid Khalfan Al Nuaimi, emphasized the Chamber's commitment to involving the community in promoting the emirate as a tourism and investment destination. This initiative aligns with Ras Al Khaimah Vision 2030, aiming to strengthen the emirate's position as a top global destination for living, working, investment, and tourism.
The Chamber encourages citizens and residents to sign up through the Ras Al Khaimah Chamber website.
