Quectel Launches Android 16 Smart Modules for 4G and 5G IoT Devices

Quectel, a leading IoT solutions provider, has introduced two new Android 16 smart modules to cater to the industrial and commercial IoT sectors. The SH602FA is a high-performance 4G smart module crafted for industrial IoT, while the SE505FE is an entry-level 5G smart module aimed at the next generation of connected devices. Both modules leverage Android 16, integrating robust wireless connectivity and multimedia features in compact designs that simplify development and expedite time-to-market.

These modules enable developers to create smarter, more interactive products with enhanced multimedia capabilities, all while reducing the complexity of integration into modern environments. For instance, a vending machine could communicate directly with a building's energy management system through the SH602FA, while a retail kiosk could display real-time data and promotional content via the SE505FE.
