Qatar aspires to keep unlocking milestones at CISM World Military Parachuting Championship

Doha, Qatar - The Qatari parachuting team is currently engaged in the CISM World Military Parachuting Championship, which is being held in Slovakia and is set to conclude on August 23. Competing in this international event are squads from a total of 33 countries. The Qatari contingent includes not only the senior team, led by Mohammed Al Marri, but also the junior team, consisting of Ali Al Yafei and Saleh Al Karbi.

The Qatari team's primary objective is to perform strongly and add to their impressive collection of gold, silver, and bronze medals. An additional ambition is to set world records, notably the Al-Hadaf team's entry into the Guinness World Records for creating the world's largest night parachute interlocking formation. Prior to the championship, the team underwent a preparatory camp in Slovakia to enhance their technical and physical capabilities, as well as acclimate to the competitive environment.

Captain Hazza Hamad Al Attiyah of the Qatar Air Sports Committee highlighted the significance of the Qatari team's participation in the tournament. He emphasized that it presents a major challenge and an opportunity to compete against the world's best teams, while also highlighting the team's growing prowess. Al Attiyah expressed confidence in the team's performance, hoping they would deliver a result worthy of Qatar's reputation and continue the exceptional outcomes achieved by the parachuting team in recent years.

Al Attiyah also praised the dedication of the players, coaches, and administrative staff in maintaining this high standard and bolstering the team's global standing.
