Members of the Progressive Professional Boxers Association of Nigeria visited Nigerian Boxing Board of Control General Secretary Remi Aboderin on Monday to congratulate him on his Diamond Jubilee. The delegation, which included high-ranking officials from the NBBofC and other boxing association members, expressed admiration for Aboderin's contributions to the development of professional boxing in Nigeria.
They noted that the sport had greatly improved under his leadership and believed it would continue to do so under current and future NBBofC leadership. Aboderin, who turned 60 last Friday, was deeply honored by the delegation's visit and the birthday gift presented to him. He acknowledged the challenges boxers face, but emphasized the importance of perseverance and unity in overcoming obstacles.
