PPSC Announces Government Jobs Across Punjab

The Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) has announced 498 government openings across various departments, educational boards, and organizations in Punjab. Recruitment is available in sectors like agriculture, transport, livestock, education, and more. Applications are due September 3, 2026.

Among the largest job categories, the Agriculture Department is opening 92 Water Management Officer (BS-17) positions, requiring a B.Sc. Agricultural Engineering or B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture degree. The Punjab Provincial Transport Authority has 82 Transport Sub Inspector (BS-14) roles for second-division BA holders. Law graduates can apply for 34 Motor Mobile Patrol Inspector (BS-16) positions.

Veterinary roles are available with the Livestock and Dairy Development Department, including 27 Veterinary Officer (BS-17) jobs for DVM degree holders with Pakistani veterinary council registration. Punjab Education Boards like BISE Lahore and Faisalabad have posted Assistant (BS-16) and Computer Programmer vacancies, among others.

The Chief Minister’s Inspection Team (CMIT) offers 22 Assistant Director Inspection (General) posts with a salary of Rs. 115,000 per month. Other CMIT roles include Office Assistant positions and specialized Inspectors. Transport Department openings include 25 Senior Transport Officer posts, three Deputy Director roles, and five Secretary District positions. Applicants should adhere to the specified qualifications and experience for each vacancy.
