‘Paid trolls’: Shatrughan Sinha blames BJP IT cell of targeting Sonakshi Sinha over protest
Actor Shatrughan Sinha has defended his daughter Sonakshi Sinha, a TMC leader, after she faced online trolling for supporting a student-led protest in Delhi. Addressing speculation about Sonakshi's potential political career, the actor revealed that he cannot predict her future plans, only stating that she is a "worthy daughter of a worthy father."
The actor also accused the BJP's IT cell of orchestrating the trolling against his daughter, claiming it was "manufactured" and done by paid trolls following their policies. Sonakshi backed the students in Delhi, praising them for their peaceful protests despite facing criticism. Shatrughan emphasized that the demonstration was peaceful overall, while acknowledging that some individuals may have caused distress.
He maintained that both protesters and the police should be held accountable for their actions, emphasizing that violence is not the solution.
