Osun poll proves evil has expiry date, says Utomi

Political economist and former presidential candidate, Prof. Pat Utomi has declared that the recent Osun State governorship election indicates that "evil has an expiry date." Utomi made this assertion in a post on X, emphasizing that the election also demonstrated that the "unworthy" could be utilized to halt what he termed as "the train."

He underscored the importance of righteousness, stating that it elevates a nation while its absence serves as a reproach to any people. Utomi further expressed his belief that righteousness is crucial for national progress. He cautioned against pressuring Archbishop Elijah Ayodele Sijuwade to publicly criticize President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, with RCCG overseer, Pastor Israel Jonathan, opposing the governors' mass presence in off-cycle election states.

Utomi criticized the "defecting" governors, describing their actions as a significant shame in the Osun election, and warned that they would eventually face judgment for betraying the people.
