NIA announces fees for 24-hour Prestige Registration Centre

The National Identification Authority (NIA) has revealed the fees and charges for services at its 24-hour Prestige Registration Centre. This centre operates seven days a week, even on weekends, providing a premium service for those seeking convenient and speedy access to NIA services. The approved fee for first-time registration at the centre is GH¢610.

Customers needing a card replacement will pay GH¢720. Those looking to update their records and replace their cards will have to pay GH¢655. A nationality record update costs the same, GH¢655. Card renewal is priced at GH¢610, while a record update without card replacement is charged at GH¢400. These charges have been approved by Parliament and apply to all services offered at the Prestige Registration Centre.

The NIA's decision to operate round the clock is designed to offer greater flexibility to individuals who may prefer to access NIA services outside regular business hours. This initiative is part of the Authority's ongoing efforts to provide convenient and efficient services to the public.
