LIV Golf Sued for $1.2M by Company That Produced Preseason Event

Fresh Tape Media, the company that produced LIV Golf's preseason media days event in January, has filed a lawsuit against LIV for over $1.23 million in missed payments and interest. The lawsuit was filed in New York State Supreme Court on July 21 and LIV was only notified of the complaint on Monday, the same day it announced the cancellation of its $40 million team championship.

LIV is alleged to have not paid eight invoices that were due between January and March 22, with values ranging from $74,470 to $231,137.40 before interest accrued. LIV never disputed any of the invoices and repeatedly promised payment, but Fresh Tape is now seeking to have some of LIV's assets frozen due to the company's inability to pay.
