Interarch Building Solutions Wins ₹128 Crore Order, FMCG Manufacturing Project To Finish In 10 Months

Mumbai: Interarch Building Solutions Limited has secured a significant contract worth approximately Rs 128 crore to construct a pre-engineered steel building system for a prominent FMCG company. The company announced this development in an exchange filing on Tuesday, August 18, but refrained from revealing the customer's name due to confidentiality and commercial reasons.

This project involves the design, engineering, manufacturing, supply, and erection of the steel building system. Interarch will manage the entire process, from the initial building design to the installation of the structure. The domestic order is expected to be completed within approximately 10 months, though the specific location and completion date have not been disclosed.

Interarch will receive 20% of the contract value as an advance payment, which could amount to around Rs 25.6 crore on the approximate contract value of Rs 128 crore. The final payment amount will depend on the detailed commercial terms of the contract. No information was provided about the remaining payment schedule or other financial conditions associated with the project.

Pre-engineered steel buildings, as described by the company, are structures whose main components are designed and manufactured at a factory before being transported to the project site for installation. This method enables companies to build manufacturing facilities more quickly while maintaining consistent quality and minimizing on-site work.

The order was awarded based on the company's regular business operations, and Interarch confirmed that its promoters, promoter group, and affiliated companies have no stake in the awarded customer. Importantly, this order does not involve any related-party transactions.
