India vs Sri Lanka Live Score, 1st Test, Day 4: Play to resume at Galle

Day 4 of the India vs Sri Lanka 1st Test match at Galle resumed with play set to restart after a day's break. India had been dismissed for 193 runs, leaving them trailing behind Sri Lanka's first innings score of 284 runs. The left-arm spinners Manav Suthar and Ravindra Jadeja had been instrumental in claiming ten wickets between them, aided by contributions from pacers Prasidh Krishna, Mohammed Siraj, and Kuldeep Yadav.

However, the Indian team chose not to follow-on, considering it unnecessary given the strong position Sri Lanka found themselves in. Sri Lanka had earlier lost five wickets in the morning session, but a resilient partnership between Sonal Dinusha and Niroshan Dickwella, totaling 146 runs, steadied their innings and staved off the follow-on.
