I launched ToolsFusion on Product Hunt today — 16 free browser-side tools for devs and freelancers

I've been building ToolsFusion quietly for the past few months alongside my day job as a Laravel developer. Today I finally launched it properly on Product Hunt, and I wanted to share it with the Dev.to community because honestly, this is the crowd I built it for. What is ToolsFusion? ToolsFusion is a free collection of 16 tools for developers, freelancers, and small business owners. Things like:…

I have spent the past few months working on ToolsFusion, a free collection of 16 browser-side tools designed for developers, freelancers, and small business owners, while still employed as a Laravel developer. I am excited to launch it on Product Hunt and share it with the Dev.to community, as this is the audience for which I have designed the tools.

ToolsFusion includes features such as the AI Token Cost Calculator, which determines the cost of prompts across various AI models like GPT-4, Claude, and Gemini. There is also an Invoice PDF Generator, allowing users to create clean PDF invoices without any account sign-ups. Other tools include a Stripe & PayPal Fee Calculator, an Image Compressor, an OG Meta Tag Previewer, and a QR Code Generator. Every tool operates entirely on the browser, ensuring no data leaves the device and no server-side processing occurs.

The site is built using Laravel and Blade on the backend, while the tools themselves are pure JavaScript, leveraging browser APIs for tasks like image compression, invoice generation, and QR code creation. My motivation for creating ToolsFusion stemmed from the frustration of navigating through various websites filled with ads and paywalls to perform simple tasks like calculating Stripe fees or previewing OG tags. I wanted to build tools that I would personally trust and use.

Looking forward, I plan to continue adding new tools based on the community's feedback and needs. I invite feedback on any recurring tasks for which users find themselves searching or using less reliable online tools. Support the launch of ToolsFusion by upvoting the Product Hunt post, as every vote helps the project gain visibility. The launch page is available at https://thetoolsfusion.com and the Product Hunt community can be found at https://www.producthunt.com/posts/toolsfusion.

Everything Is an Agent Now, and they are arguing with me

I joined UiPath in July 2026 after 7+ years as a Developer Advocate at AWS. Just over a month in, and I've had to unlearn something I've depended on when building automations most of my career: that…

  • UiPath author joined after AWS Developer Advocate role
  • Discovered agentic stack introduced non-determinism
  • Coded functions handle deterministic steps, humans approve high-stakes
