Hayden Panettiere death mystery deepens as autopsy finds no signs of trauma — with cause still undetermined

Los Angeles, August 18 — The cause of 36-year-old actress Hayden Panettiere's sudden death remains undetermined, according to an autopsy report showing no signs of trauma. The "Heroes" and "Nashville" star was found unresponsive at a residence in Greenville, South Carolina, on Sunday afternoon after an acquaintance called 911. Emergency crews performed advanced cardiac life support, but Panettiere was pronounced dead at 2:32 PM.

Greenville County coroner Mike Ellis stated further tests are being conducted to determine the cause and manner of death.
