Guinness Ghana DJ Awards 2026 nationwide tour kicks off in Winneba

The 2026 Guinness Ghana DJ Awards nationwide tour officially began in Winneba, Central Region, on Saturday, August 15. The opening event, titled Pub Fest, featured a vibrant street procession followed by an energetic cultural display in the town's main streets. This was succeeded by a lively celebration at Tempest Lounge, which drew over 1,200 attendees.

The night showcased performances from top DJs including DJ Raya, DJ Scratch, DJ Bliss, and reigning DJ of the Year, DJ Sly King. The event was organized by Nyce FM’s MC Kilson and MC Shongee, who maintained high energy throughout. This inaugural stop on the nationwide tour aims to bring the DJ Awards experience to various regions of Ghana, in addition to Accra, and provides opportunities for DJs from different areas to showcase their talents.

Organizers Merqury Republic emphasized that the tour aligns with the Awards' mission to celebrate DJs and nightlife communities across the country. The 2026 Guinness Ghana DJ Awards tour, powered by Smirnoff, is centered around the "All Out" theme, encouraging DJs, creatives, and fans to push boundaries, showcase their best energy, and celebrate the creators shaping Ghana's music and nightlife scene.

The following stop on the tour will be in Takoradi, Western Region, promising more music, culture, and DJ performances for fans. The 2026 Guinness Ghana DJ Awards promises a season filled with thrilling activations, compelling performances, and recognition for the DJs shaping Ghana's entertainment culture.
