FSU receiver earns Preseason AP All-America Team nod

Duce Robinson's impressive first season at Florida State has elevated expectations for the Seminoles' receiver. After an outstanding campaign, the Associated Press has recognized Robinson for his exceptional skills, naming him to the Preseason All-America Second-Team offense alongside Indiana's Charlie Becker and Rutgers' KJ Duff.

This is another prestigious honor for Robinson as he aims to build on his 1,000-yard performance in his second season at Florida State. His remarkable production didn't come from sporadic flashes of brilliance; instead, Robinson achieved this consistency with five games of at least 120 receiving yards, the highest among Power Four players, and three games with 140 yards or more.

His average of 19.3 yards per reception and consistently surpassing the 100-yard mark against prominent opponents, including Virginia, Wake Forest, Clemson, and Virginia Tech, highlight his prowess. His performance against ACC opponents stands out even more. Robinson averaged an impressive 102.8 receiving yards per game in league play and led the ACC with 17 catches of at least 20 yards, 12 of at least 30 yards, and six of at least 40 yards.

He was also named to the first-team All-ACC and was a semifinalist for the Biletnikoff Award. These accomplishments have solidified Robinson as a key player for Florida State's offensive strategy in 2026. Rather than starting as an uncertain transfer, he now returns with evidence of his ability to create explosive plays against top-tier competition.

With Robinson's influence, Florida State's next challenge will be translating this individual recognition into overall team success as they prepare for a promising season.
