Fallout 4 Patch Updates the Creation Kit, Fixes Various Bugs Including Steam Deck Crash

Bethesda has recently released a patch for the popular open-world post-apocalyptic role-playing game, Fallout 4. This update includes various bug fixes and enhancements to the Creation Kit. One of the most notable changes is the increase in the BA2 archive limit from 256 to 1024, allowing for larger collections of mods. Creations up to 2GB in size can now be uploaded for Xbox, expanding the platform's compatibility.

Players using Steam Deck devices will also benefit from this update, as it fixes a crash that occurred when the Virtual Keyboard was opened. Additionally, Bethesda has addressed the issue of a crash that would occur due to a streaming audio error. The game credits have been updated, with Wesley listed as Director of News at IGN.

Fallout 4 players are advised to log into their game before applying the update to save their load order. Once saved, they will be able to re-download their entire Creations list at once when the update is live. Bethesda is also working on an update for Skyrim, with details expected soon.
