Energoatom, the Ukrainian national electricity company, has fully fulfilled its special public service obligation (PSO) of over UAH 141.448 billion for the period of January to July 2026, ensuring affordable electricity for households. This financial commitment has been crucial in maintaining low electricity tariffs for millions of Ukrainian families, keeping them below market levels.

Energoatom has not had any outstanding debt to the Guaranteed Buyer for the PSO. Throughout Russia's full-scale war against Ukraine, spanning from 2022 to 2025, the company has paid more than UAH 528.9 billion (including VAT) towards the PSO. In 2025 alone, Energoatom paid UAH 168.546 billion for the PSO and transferred over UAH 44.5 billion to the state budget.

The Cabinet of Ministers, through Order No. 399-r issued on April 29, 2026, approved Energoatom's net profit of UAH 18,688,306,075 for 2025. The government allocated half of that profit, amounting to UAH 9,344,153,037.5, to dividend payments to the state budget.
