Dimension Energy raises $857m for US distributed solar portfolio

Dimension Energy has secured an additional $857 million in funding to accelerate its expansion of distributed solar operations in the United States. The capital increase, led by Nuveen Energy Infrastructure Credit and HPS Investment Partners, brings the company's total corporate credit facility to $650 million. This additional funding will provide Dimension Energy with greater flexibility to advance its pipeline of distributed solar projects and move developments into the construction phase.

Further construction-to-term debt and tax equity financing of $657 million has also been secured, which will support the buildout of 29 solar projects across five states, totaling a combined capacity of 149 megawatts. Nuveen Energy Infrastructure Credit's global head expressed confidence in Dimension Energy's ability to execute at scale, highlighting the growing demand for distributed solar power.

Dimension Energy's co-founder and CEO emphasized that the new funding will enable the company to continue scaling its operations at a rapid pace.
