Clemson offensive coordinator Chad Morris has returned to his beloved program, eager to implement a new offensive strategy. The Tigers have underperformed in recent seasons, averaging only 27.2 points per game nationally. Morris views his return as an opportunity to help Clemson achieve greater success. "I am pumped up as a bike tire right now," he said on the ACC Network's Road Trip.

Morris' coaching journey has taken him through various stops, including time as head coach at SMU and Arkansas, and serving as Auburn's offensive coordinator in 2020. He also spent last season as an analyst at South Florida before returning to Clemson as an analyst in 2024. Now, Morris aims to modernize Clemson's offense, moving beyond the rapid pace of his previous tenure and focusing on efficient execution and mixing up play calls to keep defenses guessing.
