Atlético seals partnership with Kiala FC

On the morning of last Sunday, the youth academy director of Atlético, Luiz Carlos de Azevedo, welcomed the owners of Kiala FC, Kelly Key and her husband Mico Freitas, and guided them through the youth facilities at Cidade do Galo. This visit marked the formalization of a partnership between the two clubs, aimed at the recruitment and development of African athletes by Atlético's youth academy, Galo.

According to an interview with GaloTV H2BET, Luiz Carlos emphasized that this partnership is unprecedented in Brazilian football. He stated that the main objective is to focus on recruiting and developing athletes from Africa. The partnership will include a permanent Atlético scout in Africa and the presentation of the academy's methodology to Kiala's professionals.

The owners of Kiala FC were given a tour of Atlético's facilities, including the fields, gym, physiotherapy facilities, accommodations, and the construction site of the new youth academy building. They also watched Atlético play against Grêmio in the Brasileirão.
