ANC in Tshwane accuses Mayor Moya of corruption

The African National Congress (ANC) in Tshwane has accused Mayor Nasiphi Moya of corruption and misuse of city service providers, according to reports. Both the ANC and the Democratic Alliance (DA) are demanding that Moya provide evidence to prove that she personally paid for home renovations, rather than using city funds. ActionSA's national chairperson, Michael Beaumont, dismisses the allegations, stating that there is no credibility to the claims and that the company involved did conduct renovations for the City of Tshwane.

Beaumont claims that the allegations are a deliberate attempt to discredit Moya, who he believes has been moving Tshwane forward in the right direction since taking office. Meanwhile, DA leader Dikeledi Selowa maintains that this is not a political witch-hunt against Moya, but rather an opportunity for other parties to address the allegations.

Selowa notes that Moya has opened the door for questions by making a statement and that the evidence presented so far is merely smoke without any fire. She also calls on Moya to release her personal finances to prove whether she personally paid for the renovations in question.
