Amitabh Bachchan recalls being told ‘you are too tall, go home’, asked to leave film set
Veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan shared his early struggles in Bollywood during a recent episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 18. He recounted being criticized for his height and even asked to leave a film set due to arriving late. During a conversation with Commonwealth Games 2026 gold medallists, Amitabh admitted that like athletes facing criticism, he too faced harsh scolding during his early days in the acting industry.
