A very real-looking GTA 6 clip—and maybe the full map—just leaked online

A minute-long gameplay clip of Grand Theft Auto 6 is circulating online, purportedly showing protagonist Jason Duval at a house familiar from trailers. The player is seen engaging in various activities, including shooting hoops and driving a damaged car. The clip is credited to a leaker group named Cyberleek, who posted it on gaming forum ResetEra. The footage has amassed over 100,000 views within hours of its release.

Additional footage posted by Cyberleek shows the protagonist crashing a car into a delivery truck and subsequently assaulting the driver. The leaker group also released screenshots of the in-game map, though the art appears too simplistic to represent the final product. Cyberleek attributes these leaks to Rockstar's decision not to release a physical version of GTA 6, directing users to various websites where donations are solicited.

The leak occurs in the final days leading up to GTA 6's scheduled gameplay reveal on August 27. This event will be exclusive to Netflix, offering the first six hours or until the content is widely shared online. GTA 6's map is confirmed to feature Vice City locales.
