Why candidates failed Bombay HC clerk test within minutes of starting exam

The Bombay High Court's clerk recruitment typing test faced significant technical issues on Sunday, August 16, causing many candidates to fail well before the exam's completion. Abhijeet Dipke, a representative from the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), joined a protest outside the examination centers in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, urging for a retest.

The candidates, who had traveled from distant locations, demanded that they be provided with new computers for the re-examination, as the same machines had declared them failed. The HC Registrar (Personnel) issued a notice confirming that the typing examination was conducted smoothly across Maharashtra, but acknowledged technical issues in certain centers, particularly in Aurangabad and Kalyan.

The notice stated that these technical issues are under examination, and candidates would be informed about the appropriate course of action.
