Video: VCK protest turns violent after TN cop slaps passing man, he retaliates
A Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi protest in Thanjavur escalated into violence. A police officer slapped a man who attempted to pass through the blockade. The man retaliated by slapping the officer back during the heated exchange. Police intervened and forcibly arrested the man after he refused to cooperate. Authorities stated minimal force was used to contain the situation and prevent escalation.
