The Traitors: New Blood Trailer Teases 'The Best Murder Mystery Ever To Exist' — Watch
Alan's castle is about to be painted crimson: Check out the trailer for NBC's The Traitors: New Blood!
The Traitors: New Blood trailer has been released, offering a tantalizing glimpse into the upcoming murder mystery series. NBC's teaser showcases an ancient castle nestled in the Scottish Highlands, where civilians will soon be given access to the hallowed halls. Among the participants are a funeral director, an astrophysicist, and more, all vying for a chance at a $250,000 cash prize.
As these contestants arrive by train, they assure viewers they will be conniving, mischievous, and deceptive. One woman even claims to excel at gaslighting. The trailer promises treachery and murder as the "Traitors" work to eliminate the "Faithful" and claim the prize for themselves. Meanwhile, the "Faithful" will attempt to uncover the Traitors and banish them from the game.
The two-hour extended premiere is scheduled for Thursday, September 17, followed by a special back-to-back airing of Episodes 3 and 4 on September 24. Subsequent episodes will air weekly on Thursdays at 8/7c, with episodes becoming available for streaming the next day on Peacock.
Unlike previous seasons, Season 5 will feature civilian-only participants, with no reality TV stars involved. The official description reveals that hidden among the Faithful are Traitors whose primary objective is to murder the Faithful and claim the prize for themselves. If the remaining Faithful contestants successfully banish all the Traitors at the end of the game, they share the prize fund. However, if a Traitor (or Traitors) remains, they will win the entire sum.
Viewers are encouraged to watch the trailer above and share their thoughts on the civilian-only season in the comments.
