Sun Clock

Sun Clock is a digital timepiece that displays the sun's position, along with sunrise, solar noon, sunset, golden hour, and twilight times, tailored to the user's location. The clock also tracks the moon's phase and rising and setting times. Users can learn more about the sun's movement direction by tapping or hovering over its segments, or the moon, hour hand, and center dot.

To ensure accuracy, Sun Clock automatically adjusts its direction based on the user's latitude: clockwise for the Northern Hemisphere and anti-clockwise for the Southern Hemisphere. Users may manually change the direction if desired. The clock aims to align sunrise with the east direction, and users can achieve this by positioning their device appropriately – screen flat and solar noon up.

A new option for a ticking seconds hand has been introduced, replacing the previous sweeping hand. A bug that caused incorrect Moon icon display in recent Safari versions has been fixed. Additionally, the odd-numbered clock face option has been added, along with the ability to display 12-hour times on the clock face. An annual calendar feature has been included, allowing users to explore the clock's capabilities further.

Feedback is appreciated, and Sun Clock has become a Progressive Web App, enabling users to install it on their device's home screen for offline access. A new auto-color mode has been added, featuring dynamic colors that shift according to the time periods.
