Sindh to Get New Motorway This Year

Federal Communications Minister Abdul Aleem Khan announced that construction on the Sukkur-Hyderabad and Hyderabad-Karachi motorways will commence this year, with completion projected within two years. The minister discussed these developments in Karachi, noting that an additional motorway will be built between Karachi and Hyderabad, distinct from the existing M-9 motorway. Khan described the new project as a "gift for the people of Sindh and the rest of the country this year."

Addressing the All Pakistan Goods Transporters Alliance, Khan pledged to allocate space for truck stands and construct rest areas equipped with all necessary facilities for transporters. He assured the transporters that no unjust traffic fines would be levied and urged them to adhere to prescribed load limits, refraining from overloading. Khan emphasized that the government would honor all genuine demands of transporters but would only promise what could be fully executed.
