In a thrilling conclusion to the Esports World Cup 2026, Saudi Team Falcons emerged victorious as Rocket League champions, defeating Spacestation Gaming in the Grand Final with a resounding 4-0 scoreline. The Saudi team, led by the exceptional talents of Sami Hajji "Dralii" and twin brothers Yazid Bakhshwin "Kiileerrz" and Saleh Bakhshwin "Rw9", secured their first Rocket League title after three years of tournament participation.
Kiileerrz and Rw9 etched their names into history as the first Saudi players to lift the prestigious Esports World Cup trophy, with the latter's outstanding performance earning him the title of Most Valuable Player. His stellar display included averaging an impressive 0.78 goals, 0.83 assists, and 1.91 saves per game throughout the competition.
Team Falcons' triumph not only secured them a lucrative $400,000 prize and 1,000 Club Championship points, but also propelled them to the top of the standings with an impressive 4,400 points - 300 ahead of second-place AG.AL. Dralii's achievement is particularly noteworthy, as he has now become the first player in Esports World Cup history to win three titles with three different rosters.
The path to glory was not without challenges for Team Falcons, who initially trailed their traditional rivals, Twisted Minds, 1-2 in the quarterfinals and were down 2-5 in the fourth game. However, they mounted an impressive comeback to force an overtime victory, ultimately securing two more wins to clinch the series. Despite missing out on qualifying for the Paris Major earlier in the year, Team Falcons remained determined and carried the momentum from their quarterfinal comeback into the semifinals.
They dismantled defending champion Karmine Corp 4-0 and advanced to face Spacestation Gaming in the Grand Final. With Team Vitality and Natus Vincere also closing in on the top spot, the Club Championship's fate remains uncertain as the final competitions of the seventh and final week of the Esports World Cup 2026 unfold.
