Rani Kamlapati-Rewa Vande Bharat Express To Operate With 16 Coaches Instead Of 8 For 75 Days

The railway administration has temporarily altered the rake composition of the Rewa-Rani Kamalapati-Rewa Vande Bharat Express, operated by West Central Railway, for a duration of 75 days. This modification will significantly enhance the number of available seats, allowing more passengers to secure reservations during the festive season and ensuring a more convenient and comfortable journey.

The Vande Bharat Express routes connecting Madhya Pradesh play a crucial role in linking key destinations such as Bhopal, Indore, Jabalpur, Gwalior, and Khajuraho with various economic centers, religious sites, and neighboring states. Among these routes, the Rani Kamalapati (Bhopal)-Rewa line connects the Vindhya region with the state capital, passing through significant stations like Itarsi, Jabalpur, and Satna.

Additionally, the Indore-Nagpur route facilitates travel between western Madhya Pradesh, including Indore and Ujjain, and Bhopal and Nagpur in Maharashtra. Furthermore, the Khajuraho-Hazrat Nizamuddin (Delhi) route provides direct connectivity between the renowned heritage destination of Khajuraho and the national capital. The Khajuraho-Banaras (Varanasi) route links major heritage and pilgrimage destinations across Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh.

To further accommodate passenger needs during peak travel periods, the Bhopal Metro has extended its Sunday service to run every 15 minutes on public holidays.
