Politicians also use and dump pastors – Primate Ayodele

INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church leader Primate Elijah Ayodele has cautioned Nigerians against engaging in violent clashes for political figures. In a recent video, Ayodele advised against dying for politicians, stating that they often use and abandon individuals after elections. He highlighted examples of politicians like Tinubu and Atiku, who maintain friendship despite their rivalry among supporters.

Ayodele warned against sacrificing oneself for politicians and emphasized that election is coming soon, so people should not let those offering money, like N1m or N500,000, manipulate them. He urged Nigerians to stop fighting over politicians, who will reconcile among themselves after elections. Ayodele also cautioned against allowing political differences to turn supporters against each other.

He criticized politicians for treating even religious leaders, like pastors, ungratefully and dumping them after using them for political gains. Ayodele questioned politicians' willingness to expose their own families to the dangers they encourage supporters to face and urged young Nigerians to be cautious in politics, avoiding blind praise or defense of politicians at the expense of their lives.
