Pakistani Students Win 8 Awards at Singapore Global MUN

Pakistani students claimed eight awards at the Global Model UN Singapore 2026, bringing honor to their country. Eight out of ten student delegates from the delegation received accolades during the international conference, which took place from August 11 to 15, 2026, at Suntec City Convention Centre in Singapore. The Westminster Model United Nations Society delegation participated alongside students from various nations, engaging in sessions centered on diplomacy, debate, public speaking, and decision-making.

Among the Pakistani delegates, one was recognized with the prestigious Best Delegate award for exceptional performance in committee work, diplomacy, negotiation, leadership, and representation. This achievement was particularly remarkable, as two of the delegates, Asna Ahmad Alvi and Rian, were just 12 years old. Their outstanding performance in a highly competitive international setting was commended for their confidence, public speaking abilities, diplomatic awareness, and negotiation skills, embodying the essence of the UN-style program.

The strong performance of the Pakistani delegation is being hailed as a moment of pride for the students, their families, mentors, and the broader Pakistani community, while also underscoring Pakistan's rising prominence in international academic and youth diplomacy forums.
